This project began as a crawlspace encapsulation but expanded after our team discovered water damage and rotted wood caused by improper gutter drainage. Roof runoff was not being directed away from the home, and the lack of proper separation where the deck met the house allowed moisture to penetrate the structure, leading to exterior and structural damage.
Our team removed the damaged wall materials, rebuilt the affected area, and properly lapped all moisture-management layers to ensure long-term protection against water intrusion. The exterior was then restored with professional stucco repair and paint matching, maintaining the home’s original appearance.
To prevent future foundation and moisture issues, we installed ADS drainage piping to properly route downspout water away from the home and foundation. The previous drainage line, which incorrectly directed water toward a neighboring property, was abandoned, and the new drainage system was extended safely down the driveway.
The project concluded with a final walkthrough and homeowner approval, ensuring the crawlspace repair, drainage correction, and water damage restoration were completed to the highest standard.
