The crew removed the old vapor barrier and any debris and were able to successfully complete the encapsulation. Crawl space encapsulation refers to the addition of a heavy-duty moisture barrier to the dirt floor of your crawl space, sealed foundation vents, insulated walls, and special crawl space dehumidifier(s).

This vented crawl space in Lake Tahoe, CA had severe issues with humidity and moisture infiltrating the home.
