This beautiful home in Incline Village had two separate crawl spaces, both struggling with moisture, musty odors, and one had uneven ground and sloping. Our Madole Construction team stepped in with a full crawl space encapsulation solution — installing heavy-duty vapor barriers, sealing vents, and adding drainage protection to create clean, dry, and healthy spaces beneath the home.
Now, both crawl spaces are fully protected, helping improve the home’s air quality, energy efficiency, and long-term structural integrity.
See the difference in this Reno crawl space door replacement! We upgraded the old, rusted metal access door to The Turtl®: a durable, weather-resistant crawl space entry system that seals out pests, moisture, and debris. Perfect for Northern Nevada’s climate, The Turtl® provides secure, easy access for maintenance while boosting curb appeal.
This Reno crawlspace started out with only a thin plastic ground cover (a basic vapor barrier) laid across the dirt floor. While it offers minimal moisture protection, it isn’t sealed or secured like a true encapsulation system, leaving the space vulnerable to humidity, odors, and energy loss.
After our transformation, the crawlspace is fully encapsulated with a professional-grade barrier that seals the floor, walls, and piers. The result is a clean, dry, and healthier environment that helps protect the foundation, improve air quality, and increase energy efficiency for the entire home.
This crawlspace started as a dirt-filled void—now it’s a clean, usable space. We removed the soil with a conveyor system, poured a concrete pad, installed an ICF retaining wall, and fully encapsulated the area above the retaining wall for long-term protection and storage efficiency.
