Photo Album: Structural Wood Rot Repair & Full Framing Replacement at Deck Interface

This album documents a repair project that began during a crawlspace encapsulation and uncovered extensive wood rot where the deck connected to the home. Once the siding and decking were removed, severe moisture damage was found in the wall framing and structural base. Our team replaced all compromised components, including the studs, bottom plates, mudsill (sill plate), and rim joists. New flashing and proper standoffs were installed to prevent future water intrusion, followed by deck refinishing. The fireplace chase also required reconstruction and stucco repair, with final finishing underway.
